CoVentures Counseling, Coaching, & Training

Family Counseling and Shelter Services
Over 45 years of providing professional and compassionate counseling services to the families, children, and individuals of Monroe County, with an emphasis on family preservation and services for those that might not otherwise have access. For more information, please call 734-241-0180.

Gabby’s Ladder 
Provides guiding steps and loving support in a safe place to grieving children, teens, adults, and families as they move step-by-step through grief and find their way to healing. Gabby’s Ladder also extends grief education and support services to schools, churches, and the community For more information, please call 734-242-8773.      

Human Potential Center 
Uses a variety of holistic approaches and therapies, honoring individual differences and processes, to assist individuals and groups in achieving their full potential. Call 734-241-0142 for more information or to schedule an appointment. 

Monroe Community Mental Health Authority 
Primarily provides mental health services to Medicaid recipients and adults and children without any insurance who are chronically mentally ill, developmentally disabled, or who have a severe emotional disturbance. There are also some private insurance companies that CMH provides outpatient psychiatric services on a contractual basis. 24-hour Emergency Services ensure that help is available to anyone 24 hours a day, seven days a week. A mental health professional can be reached after regular business hours by calling 734-243-7340 or 1-800-886-7340. 

ProMedica Monroe Regional Hospital
Believes early intervention and treatment can make a positive difference in the lives of those who are challenged with emotional problems, mental illness, or chemical dependence. For more information or to schedule an appointment, please call 734-240-1760

Self & Family Behavioral Healthcare 
The aging population is sometimes overlooked.  We are here to support both the elder and the caregiver.  We specialize in geriatric mental health counseling. 

Our therapists work with a wide range of emotional and behavioral issues providing services that span from therapy for depression and grief counseling and beyond. Call 734-586-0031 to set an initial appointment. 

Senior Counseling Services, LLC 
Was created to increase the well-being and quality of life of seniors and home-bound individuals throughout Southeastern Michigan. We address issues such as depression, anxiety, isolation, and living with chronic illness.  Senior Counseling Services also provides coping strategies and therapy to deal with grief and loss, trauma, dementia, mental illness, and health issues. The Women's Center of Southeastern Michigan

Addiction in the Elderly ~ It’s not uncommon to develop an addiction later in life, but the health effects of substance abuse for those over the age of 65 can be even more dangerous than those in younger users.

Provides one-stop access to U.S. government mental health and mental health problems information.

An agency within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services that leads public health efforts to advance the behavioral health of the nation. SAMHSA's mission is to reduce the impact of substance abuse and mental illness on America's communities. 

Anxiety and Depression Association of America 
The mission is to promote the prevention, treatment, and cure of anxiety, depression, OCD, PTSD, and related disorders through education, practice, and research.
