Accountability.Training. Hope (PATH) Program, the Community Corrections Program, and the Food Stamp Employment & Training Program.  On-the-job and work based training is also available to employers and job seekers.

Although some programs require specific eligibility or a referral, ANY job seeker can use Employment Services offered in the convenient, user-friendly MCETD One Stop.  Job seekers are encouraged to upgrade their skills and hone their job seeking abilities at the MCETD to move forward successfully in Michigan’s transitioning economy.  Core employment services are available to any customer through the MCETD via a seamless system of co-located workforce development services and community partners.  The MCETD also partners with various local and state agencies, including Department of Health and Human Services, (DHHS), Michigan Rehabilitation Services (MRS), Monroe County Intermediate School District (MCISD), Monroe County Commission on Aging, Monroe County Friend of the Court, Monroe County Opportunity Program (MCOP), Monroe Community Mental Health Authority, Youth Opportunity Program (YOP), Child Care Network, Family Counseling & Shelter Services, Unemployment Agency, Job Corps, Veteran’s Employment Representative, Catholic Charities of Southeast Michigan, Salvation Army, United Way-211, and private sector employers.

The local business community is able to access customized personnel services at no cost through a wealth of resources, such as the Pure Michigan Talent Connect, a no-cost, Internet-based employment website www.mitalent.org. Employers can host job fairs and have access to interviewing space on site at the MCETD. The MCETD staff works with new and existing businesses to maintain and foster business growth in the community, in conjunction with the Monroe County Economic Development Corporation and the Monroe County Business Development Corporation.  To link to the Streamlined Developer's Guide, go to  www.monroecountybdc.com.
