Case Investigation Survey via Text Message
The Monroe County Health Department now uses a text message-based tool to support case investigation efforts for Monroe County residents who test positive for COVID-19. The text message includes a link to a confidential survey that will help provide timely information and guidance on isolation as well as identification of close contacts and quarantine recommendations for close contacts. The survey only asks for information about the positive individual such as demographics, symptoms, occupation, attendance at public events or gatherings, and people with whom they have had close contact. The survey DOES NOT gather any private information like social security numbers, personal passwords or banking details.
If you are a Monroe County resident who recently tested positive for COVID-19 and receive a text message from the Monroe County Health Department, please open the message and complete the survey. If you have any questions, please call us at 734-240-7835.
